The kitchen, with its nearby pantry, understandably was the center of living in the 1800s and early 1900s. A spinning wheel, butter churns, cheese press, dining table, a rocking chair where a mother could sit while doing hand work, all reveal the work done here. But the children's toys of a bygone time still catch the eye and interest of any youngster who enters the room even to this day.
